DJ Southpaw for most!! - Albright to some!

Southpaw has had a love for hip-hop and the art of DJing since he was old enough to know what music was. After seeing such DJs as Jam Master Jay, Jazzy Jeff, Grandmaster Flash - the pioneers of the game he instantly fell in love, and knew he wanted to one day pursue being a DJ. As a child, growing up in the suburbs of Detroit, Mi; Southpaw was too young to have the resources to obtain the proper equipment, then in 1989-90 he moved to South Florida, where he currently resides. During this time, still unable to get his hands on legitimate turntables, Southpaw used to scratch 45s on his hand-me-down record/audio cassette tape/8 track player, of course things didnt quite sound the same as they seemed they should. During his high school years, Southpaw finally got his first set of real turntables! From there, things took off! Not having anyone to show him the ropes of how to DJ, Southpaw quickly learned on his own, doing school events and house parties. Being half deaf, Southpaw was always afraid to do clubs, and consistent loud events. Trying to find a spot that best suits him; he picked up on doing mixtapes. This came easy for him! Specializing in consistent mixing with no stops and on point blends/remixes, Southpaw has established himself as a world-renowned mixtape DJ! His mixtapes can be heard all over the nation as well as overseas in such places as Belgium, England, Croatia, Australia and numerous other countries!! In doing so, he linked up with a Belgium DJ named DJ Swishoclate and together created The Emissaries an up and coming mixtape duo - soon to be team. Aside from dropping his own mixtapes along with Emissaries projects, Southpaw can now be heard on radio, doing a syndicated show called the TMG Power 30 countdown, and has recently been named Music Director of the TMG Radio Network, and also has been hand-picked to be a member of the upcoming DJ Crews the All Out All Stars and Spin Club DJs!!!! In a short time, he has accomplished a tremendous amountand this is still only the beginning!!!
