El Papote

About Me

New to the game but already creating a buzz in the industry, El Papote delivers a powerhouse production featuring some of South Georgia's sickest Emcees. Born and raise between Miami and the Bronx, El Papote compares the industry to Latin American Culture. "You can try to change yourself to fit in, or make enough of an impact to change things."El Papote has worked with some of Miami's finest musicians. His work can be heard on records released by Camilo Espitia, Johnny Dread, Locos Por Juana, La Kambra Lounge, Grupo Kontrol, and Suena Fuego. After a 2 year run with former Latin fusion band 'Infuso', he co-founded a music Studio in South Georgia with the help of his long time friend, Henry Penafiel. Sandmonk Studios' debut album was released in March of '07 and is available at www.myspace.com/sandmonkstudios.The 2nd album titled "The Roster" was released on May 23, 2008 and will feature El Papote, Dou Ching, Henry Penafiel, Ill Thoughts, Big Chubbs, Illinois, Misfit, Breakyard, T.
