Anyone who sets goal and makes every effort to achieve. It's not rather or not we succeed in the eyes of the world....but rather or not we tried in our heart!!! If we don't try....how do we succeed? My "other" heros are those who don't have to put others down in order to feel good about themselves, and know that the world is not "all about them". Keeping in mind the old adage "what goes around - comes around" ! And sometimes that's not a comfortable place to be.
.And it goes without saying, our young men and women who serve so selflessly in the armed forces. We ask them to serve with minimal compensation for their sacrifces? I see a lot of hypocracy in our expectations of those that serve...and do so bravely, while their loved ones worry, and all too often, are emotionally and financially burdened while their loved one "serves" US ?? This is just wrong. We provide for every known country....Don't you think it's time to set our soldiers and their families as our "Priority" !!! They are the forever heros.
