About Me

The up and coming rock band 40th Street Diaries has been playing together for about 5 years. With great energy on and off the stage, these guys will leave you wanting more. Weather it's their new style in the studio, or their presence on stage... There's something that'll just draw you back. Formerly known as Felixcat, the band found its beginnings when Pat Brownfield, and fellow schoolmate of several years, Carlos Peralta decided to begin playing songs together on guitar. The idea to have a band was everpresent from the beginning, and soon, they found Drummer Dan Wiseman, and their first bassist, Andrew Romanovich. After playing together for about two years, the band split with Andrew and began playing with longtime friend Brian Skewis of nextdayflight. The switch could not have come at a better time, as the band grew and changed to write better songs. After recording the first EP, "1,000 Words," they remained in the scene until recently taking a short hiatus from shows to pursue their next cd. Soon after the latest cd was recorded, the band amicably parted ways with long time guitarist and good friend Carlos Peralta. His spot was filled by David Jaynes, former guitarist of the San Diego based band "Last Call". The new record, "Blue Eyes EP" is now pressed and is available. In the meantime... 40th Street Diaries is booking shows! Thanks for checking us out!______________________________________________________
