Meeting cool people & doing fun things with them... a trip to 7-11 can be fun if you're with someone you want to be with. Eating, drinking, sitting around shooting the shit... whatever. Traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures, foods, music... There are a lot of good things out there.
I pretty much like everything. I played violin in my jr. high orchestra... I wish I kept that up. I used to sing for a band in my younger years. Sometimes I still play guitar, but not nearly as often as I'd like. There are way TOO many bands/musicians to mention, but here are a few: Elliott Smith, The Beatles, Chet Baker, Vince Guaraldi, Glenn Miller, Everclear, Patsy Cline, Rage Against the Machine, The Allman Brothers, Guns & Roses, Vivaldi, Bach, Tchaikovsky, The Buzzcocks, The Jam, Frank Sinatra, Nirvana, Metallica (the earlier stuff), James Taylor, Tupac, Roy Orbison, IZ (Israel Kamakawiwo'ole), Pennywise, Bad Religion, yada, yada, yada...
I've always wanted to come up with a "Top Ten" list... but there are so many good ones... Star Wars IV, It's a Wonderful Life, Fight Club, There's Something About Mary, Bottle Rocket, Before Sunrise, Stand by Me, The Matrix, Swingers, and Old School... oh yeah, let's not forget North Shore.
I try not to watch too much TV. I like watching basketball & football w/ my friends. I love South Park, Family Guy, and sometimes I'll let myself get caught up in a Korean drama.
Steinbeck is probably my all time favorite. "Travels with Charlie" is wonderful. It's an autobiographical account of a trip across the US w/ his poodle Charlie. "The Art of World Wisdom" by Baltasar Gracian is a book I can open to any page and just get blown away.
My mom and dad... they struggled a lot to make sure I had a good life. I love them so much.
