Fire Dance is the fulfillment of an ancient indigenous prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor. It is told by many different tribal cultures that one day the nations of both North and South America will be united and become one to share their medicine, strength and together will rise up to help the world understand the importance of connecting with nature. It also states the importance of sharing and caring for each other as your own brother or sister.
In essence, the performance is a modern celebration of tribal based ceremonies expressing its diversity from mainstream to underground musical styles, aerial performance, and acrobatics.
It is a celebration of life and death and is a type of medicine in its own way. It expresses the sacredness of the elements of the earth and our connection in this universe.
Stories of hope and stories of ascendance from one form of consciousness to a new higher level of realization of mans lot on this earth, and his connectedness to the universe as a whole.
Along with the dance and drummers the show features streams via multi screen projections, a huge set built to reveal a Mayan Temple, and an array of pyrotechnics throughout the entire performance.
What sets this show apart from other indigenous performances is that we incorporate different elements from tribes and nations from both North and South America (hence the Eagle and the Condor).
The audience will be taken on a journey from the material world into the spirit world. Explore the strength of the human mind, body, spirit and the rhythm that takes it beyond. Voyage through a magical, rhythmical place where fantasies become reality.
These are the concluding ceremonial dances based on the gathering of all nations converging for the benefit of mankind. This universal message assumes the responsibility of man through truth, honesty and respect for the eco system.
