Sleep, History, Wasting time on the computer for as long as I possibly can without being at the complete expense of my work, Making people laugh, Good Food and Film, and more sleep.
I would say Steve Perry, but clearly we already know each other. Maybe Corey Haim? Or Corey Haim's mom? Not Corey Feldman, he's just weird.
Journey, obviously, Weezer (Blue and Pinkerton, you know, before everyone knew who they were) The Get-Up Kids, Tom Petty, Lagwagon, Bad Religion, No Use for a Name, Ozma, Saves the Day, Billy Joel, Stabbing Westward, The Julianna Theory, Tori Amos, Blink-182 (again, I'll take Dude Ranch over any of their more recent offerings) Goldfinger, Gin Blossoms, The Ataris, The Doors, Jimmy Eat World, MxPx, general 80's pop/rock. I don't like much "new" music, but some bands, such as My Chemical Romance and Panic! at the Disco, show promise.
Donnie Darko, The Wicker Man (I'd be impressed if you've even heard of it), Punch-Drunk Love, Adaptation, Best in Show, Waiting for Guffman, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle (Seriously, go now to a place where videos are sold or rented, BUY IT or RENT IT), The Baxter, Annie Hall, Say Anything, American Psycho, Scream, Clerks, The Game, Chasing Amy, Wayne's World (One and Two). I like movies with memorable quotes, be they witty or just plain funny.
Dawson's Creek (I own seasons 1-5 plus the final episode) Felicity, House, Grey's Anatomy, The Office. And does anyone remember The State on MTV in the early 90's? One of the best sketch comedy shows I have ever seen. If that ever comes out on DVD, I am so there!
What are those? You mean those rectangular shaped objects that surround me where I sit, overflow onto my floor, take up every inch of space on and in my desk, consume my every waking hour, and will be the foundation of the job that I will be doing for the rest of my life, day after day, year after year? Never heard of them.
Early Modern European History Professors, mostly because that's what I want to be. They rule.
