I am Jen. That's all I can be, that's all I should be. Everything else is secondary.

About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Blues brothers

Well, what do I say about myself? I'm a very sweet, down to earth kinda lady. I'm tolerant of all walks of life, except those who do harm to others. I can't deal with that. I am a protector of innocents. Tis what I do. I love people. If you want to talk, hit me up. I have good ears and a sympatheic soul...

All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my Jen.

You are The Tower

Ambition, fighting, war, courage. Destruction, danger, fall, ruin.

The Tower represents war, destruction, but also spiritual renewal. Plans are disrupted. Your views and ideas will change as a result.

The Tower is a card about war, a war between the structures of lies and the lightning flash of truth. The Tower stands for "false concepts and institutions that we take for real." You have been shaken up; blinded by a shocking revelation. It sometimes takes that to see a truth that one refuses to see. Or to bring down beliefs that are so well constructed. What's most important to remember is that the tearing down of this structure, however painful, makes room for something new to be built.

My Interests

My number one interest is people. I love people. All people! I am blessed with the ability to listen and to advise and be gentle with those souls who need some TLC. I've always been that way, and as far as I can tell, I will always be. But you know what? That's okay with me. I have a big heart and lots of love to give. I am honored that people trust me enough to tell me things. I keep everything that is told to me private. I'm not all about spreading your business around the Internet. I don't roll that way.

Music:

Music has really been speaking to me lately. It seems that whenever something is going on in my life, a song on the radio speaks to me in a way that helps me figure out what to do next. Weird, perhaps...but it's cool though. I listen to everything from Phantom of the Opera to Rob Zombie. I really do love 80's music the best!

Every Rose Has Its Thorn by Poison What's Your 80s Theme Song?

Movies:

Okay!!! I am a sucker for the girlie movies...Titanic, Beaches, The Notebook...I also like some action flicks...I like comedy the best tho. My absolute, all time favorite movie forever and always is "Stand By Me." Ahh...good memories :) I have discovered the value of classic movies lately. Just saw Breakfast At Tiffany's, The Wild One with a very young and SUPER HOT Marlon Brando...holy shit! Night of the Living Dead, To Kill A Mockingbird, Lolita...the list goes on and on!

Television:

I mostly watch the History Channel/Discovery etc. TOTALLY hooked on The Human Weapon. Love it love it LOOOVE IT! Watch that one religiously. Amazing how those guys can beat the piss out of someone with their bodies. I have been enjoying brainless TV lately...I admit. I have several guilty pleasures...Pimp My Ride, American Choppers, Cribs, My Super Sweet 16 (those little bitches kill me), Paula's Home Cooking, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Halfway House, Reno 911, Jackass, Viva La Bam, Bam's Unholy Union...yeah...stupid TV amuses me!!

Saturday Night Live - Season 1 - John Belushi SNL Screen Test

Posted Dec 01, 2006

John, you were a contender.

Books:

Love Melinda Haynes: Mother of Pearl, Willem's Field. I absolutely love "A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey. His follow up book, "My Friend Leonard" had me in tears sobbing uncontrollably a few different times. I don't care if it's 100% real or 100% fabrication, I LOVE IT. His style speaks to my soul and moves me. Love him! LOVE HIM! LOOOVE HIM! lol...okay, yeah I'm a fan. Two to watch for: Watiing for Normal by Leslie Connor, coming out in Feb 08. Scored myself an advanced reader copy...awesome. Also reading one called On Wings of the Morning...advanced copy. FANTASTIC! I also really like this little kids' book, "Don't let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" by Mo Willems. HILARIOUS! What else do I like? I like sappy books by Nicholas Sparks and I also love to read a good comedy. Again, I'm all over the place with books. Just love to read, period :) I have a soft spot for the Calvin and Hobbes collections because they have inspired my six year old son to read, read, read! (I recently caught him up reading one of the collections at 10 p.m.--long after he should have been sleeping LOL)

Heroes:

My TRUE heroes are everyday people who overcome huge obstacles. Like recovering alcoholics and junkies...double amputees that climb Mount Everest...people who lose 100 plus pounds...those are the people who inspire me. Those who make me look at my sorry, lazy ass and make me want to get off of myspace for five minutes and do something with my life.
