Formerly known as 50 Cent Ride, The Fallen Idols are a hard rock band from Boise, ID. Since the groups conception in 2001 they have specialized in a new hybrid of rock music. Taking their influences from the masters classic rock, they inject a dynamic array of modern ideas the Fallen Idols have dubbed their particular genre of music Cocaine Rock, which is also the title of their first album, released by Statue Records. The Fallen Idols formed in the spring of 2001 to play in a collected rock venue. Due to an overwhelming fan support and popularity of their music, The Fallen Idols decided to become a more permanent fixture in their local music surroundings. The group has played throughout Boise and others areas of Idaho. They have headlined and opened for other independent touring groups such as The Broke, Pummel, and Midnight to 12. When they placed their music on MP3.com they accrued three times the downloads than any other band from the Boise area.
