About Me

How to describe me? I am a die hard romantic at heart. Strong belief in God. Lost my Dad in November 2003 and I still miss him. It teaches you that life is indeed precious. People are here one day and gone the next. I have been a car salesman, machinist, bartender, an accountant, little league baseball coach,a real cowboy who knows how to milk a cow, give shots to cattle, been thrown through cattle chutes, and finally a consultant. Absolutely the best people to work with ever. I am here to make friends because you never know what will happen next. Great sense of humor and I love working out. Since Fate intervened, I am down 30 freaking pounds, that's in the lower number of my height/weight recommendation! I haven't been at this weight in years. It feels great. OK, I have been called "buff", so does that make me athletic or slim/slender? Where are my buddies? Not a single Lambda Chi Alpha from A&M Commerce on Myspace. I miss the alumni functions. There will be a big change in my life but let's just say lightning struck May 22, 2006, and she motivated me look at my life and change for the better. I need to become free to enable anything else to happen. Although I am married, its virtuality platonic. Working diligently to be out by February 1st. I cannot wait to be free and on my own again. Been on my own anyway. I guess that leaves me in Married status until the Divorce is final?

My Interests

Fishing for large mouth bass, reading a decent sci-fi or fantasy novel, working out. Meeting new people, traveling all over the country, visiting historical sites, art museums (Renoir and Monet), the beach for the sand, sun, waves, smell, and roaring surf. Going on the road to different cities, having drinks and dinner at places with ambiance (Oh how I hate fast food), and then working out to maintain. Oh yeah, Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, and Boston Red Sox. Take the quiz:

I'd like to meet:

Looking to make new friends and find the old ones. In these troubled times you may need me as a friend or vice-versa. Jesus Christ of course. I have met some incredible people on here. I once played the trombone and jazz was the best thing to play. Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears, Beatles, Frank Zappa, America, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Gretchen Wilson, Maroon5, Nickleback, Brad Paisley, and on and on. If it has talent, then I will give it a go.

Movies:

LOTR, Star Trek #4 (the one about the whales), Star Wars (except the sceens between Christensen and Portman, She was acting with a robot), comedies like Wedding Crashers. I do not like movies where the premise is all about lying such as the Fokkers. Yes, I will watch chick flicks but only if I get to run my fingers through your hair.

Television:

Prefer SciFi shows that make you think, or sporting events. Nip/Tuck, Boston Legal (miss Ally McBeal.. bygones), and sometimes SNL. However, on the road, I generally don't watch much TV as it becomes work, exercise, and sometimes more work from the hotel. And of course time for myspace.

Books:

Sci-Fi, Fantasy, historical novels are usually what I am reading. The Bible where any answer can be found.

Heroes:

The female marine who is going to Iraq. God will be with her and bring her home safe and sound. And my other myspace friends (and their sons and daughters) that are over there and Mel Gibson for having the guts to produce The Passion of Christ.
