TRIP (Tha Realest In Person) otherwise known as Dark-Don is a rapper (18 years old) from where he refers to as Squadronville DSB. He started rappin’ back when he was just 7 years old (1997). At first he was simply writing rhymes to beats but with age brought development. Whilst growing up and perfecting his skill through syllable wordplay, freestyling, metaphors, similes, punchlines and imaginative rhymes he was able to master many flows & rhyme pattern which contributes to his natural interchangeable lyricism. An even bigger gift is his ability to manage conscious rap and introspective song writing along with reality / street-inspired rap and songs that you can straight bang out in the club or ride to in your car. Trip sites his music as mainly “Rider music†(. But it’s his diversity as an incredible freestyler which makes him complete as an all-round artist. He cites his main influence as 90’s Hip-Hop (check influences) and mastered the art of structuring hooks and concepts after studying many classic albums of the 90s.As a person Dark-Don can be described as innovative, articulate, intellectual and unique, much like his rap-style. Although for those who know him he may appear a sometime mysterious character, heartless individual whose views are abstract and puzzling to say the least… but one thing is clear. Along with The D-Squad (King Kash, Korleone, Haze & Dark-Don) and there independent label Hang Ya Chain records (top friends) founded by his older brother King Kash, D-Squad are ready to become Hip-Hop legends and create classic albums that will last forever and take over the music industry on a major scale. This is plain and simply REAL HIP-HOP.Dark-Don is currently working on his solo mixtape "The Story So Far" due to be released mid 2008..Along with King Kash debut album and EP being released this year. As of April 2008, new videos have been posted showin Dark-Don, Korleone, King Kash & Jaycee-emcee are working toegther on a D-Squad/Tha Squadron album... Hang Ya Chain Records.
