Born on the 8th February 1988. Rapper/Producer King Kash (aka Dub-K), Put pen to Paper at the young age of nine. Expressing himself through music by taking real life aspects, drawing on that as inspiration for his material his continual desire for raising the bar on artistic merit make him one of the most diverse and skilful producing artists to emerge on the scene. Effortlessly incorporating a sharp flow, imaginative wordplay and lyrical prowess, unlike no other. His ability to touch on a range of subjects from conscious introspective tracks about serious issues such as, politics to tongue-in-cheek, light hearted tracks about witty everyday experiences have allowed him to gain appreciation for being a very skilled, lyricist and a songwriter. King Kash, who also produces is just as skilled behind the boards as he is behind the mic. Whether its from banging synchs based production or using live musicians for a fuller and more dynamic sound he strives to become a producers producer and is not simply content to follow the status Quo set by the average beat maker, as he is very keen to involve himself in all stages of production including mixing his own tracks. To further make his presence felt, King Kash has also set up his own independent label “hang ya chain recordsâ€. Which he produces for and with artists such as Jaycee Emcee & D Squad, (Trip-D & Syke-o). And runs a promotions company “DO IT BIG†Promotions specialising in putting on showcases, which helps to bring to the forefront up & coming talent from the UK music scene, The multi talented producing artist that is King Kash has set out to prove why he is what the game needs.. King Kash is currently working on his debut album “Just another day†which is expected to be released in mid 2008 via Hang ya chain records ( look out for the EP to be dropping before)
