About Me

I'm half japanese. That's why I have the cool first name and the not so cool last name. born and raised in south london and stayed there because it was easy. My Dad moved to LA and my mother stayed put in this foreign land. Sunny holidays. Much too odd for my liking.I picked up guitar when I was 7 and gave it up for piano, which I gave up to do nothing. I sang in choir in secondary school. I was going to be second soprano but went to 1st alto as they were short on people. I picked up guitar at 15 after having a huge crush on gale from turin brakes. Gemma Hayes was my female guitarist idol. The crush went, I joined a band of beginner songwriters and 2 guitar teachers came and went. My super talented friend began teaching me and the band melted away. I had a year of working in a dvd shop, going to LA (to see my dad) and to Japan to have fun with the best kids you'll ever meet.I spend far too much money on clothes and make up, and wonder if I could wear my new dress to uni. Then I realise that it is not a good idea to be that glamorous when I'm on a train full of people who smell like mouldy trainers. yuck... I'm currently living in Kyoto for a year as part of my degree. I bought a guitar and I'm trying to write again..
