Okay, we're almost done recording 3 more songs, so we'll let you know when we post them. Sorry if we haven't been on in a while responding, but we were really concentrating on our new songs. We should have more time now. Anyways, we are trying to win a record contract with Virgin Records, so we need YOUR HELP. Go to www.myspace.com/burnoutbandslam and vote for us! We'd appreciate it. Okay. We are back to writing and playing now after we all took a little break! We've been getting a lot of messages saying our songs aren't playing. Please be patient. We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. We sure did. We're taking a break for a little while to enjoy the holiday season and will be "back to work" after New Year's. We have 4 more new songs already written and are going to start recording them in early January. We will let you know when they are up for download. Okay, we posted our new song "Tragic Beauty" today and have received a lot of messages from all of you saying that it fails when you add it to your profile. We sent a message to Myspace and hopefully they'll fix the problem. What else can we do? If anybody knows what's wrong with it, then let us know. We have a temporary solution if you really want to support though. If you want to add our whole music player, message us and we'll get back to you with instructions. We just completed writing our new song "Tragic Beauty." All the changes that we needed to make have been made and it's now ready to be recorded. The recording process is lengthy because we wanna make it sound great for you, so bare with us. Expect it to be posted up late next week. Feel free to talk to any of us if you'd like. We'd love to hear from you...********************** NEWS: (9/17/06, 9pm) ********************** Hey everybody! We just uploaded a "new songs" sampler. They are NOT fully written or recorded. We need YOUR help to figure out which songs to finish writing for our demo. "Tell Me" and "Still Frame" are already going to be added to the demo. There are 4 songs on the "4 New Songs samples..." (1, 2, 3 and 4) at the top of our playlist. We guess you can say that they go from softest to hardest. Those are NOT the only songs that we are writing, but those are the only ones that we've recorded so far. Let us know which numbers you like either in a comment or a message. We will respond to everyone that keeps in touch. PLUS, we had some time after practice today so we recorded a LIVE acoustic version of "Tell Me" just to see how it would sound --- Josh singing, of course, Julius on lead guitar and Alan on rhythm guitar. Josh is kind of sick, but he still pulled it off! It will be posted but not downloadable because we want to record it perfectly if we get a lot of good feedback on it.
