I like it when people say things that are absurd and totally inappropriate for the occasion. Other than that, I love books and good wine, drinking tea on cold nights and beer on hot ones, and recently rock climbing. And on most weekdays, science :)
Meh. But these guys are pretty cool.
What I'm into right now: indie (the Shins, Cat Power, Vedera, Ditty Bops, Mates of State, Death Cab, Badly Drawn Boy, Elliott Smith, etc.), also some "emo"/punk/screamo (The Classic Crime, Mae, Eighteen Visions, Anberlin, get up kids, Flogging Molly, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Circa Survive, etc.) and of course the classics: Crowbar, Rancid, Bad Religion, Weezer, Deftones, Reel Big Fish, the Ramones Eighteen Visions!Yah for Death CabMates of State are the cutest couple band ever.
Interview with a Vampire, any Tim Burton film, anything with Johnny Depp in it (I have a deep appreciation of his artistic integrity...), Lord of the Rings trilogy, Kill Bill movies, Resident Evil, a few "chic flicks" which I refuse to name here out of principle you understand.
I don't have TV. Sometimes I think about how it would be cool to have TV, but thats always shortlived.
When you read like I do, books are forever changing your perceptions of yourself and the world. Anais Nin, Ayn Rand, Elie Weisel, Carlos Ruiz Zafron, Doris Lessing, Khaled Hosseini, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Whitney Otto, Donna Gillespie to name a very, very few of the authors I have recently enjoyed.
Sometimes my cats do some pretty sweet acrobatics. I'd like to be flexible like that.
