About Me

I am me. while i continue to find out who that is more and more everyday, i try to be consistant with who I am based on what i believe and hold to be true. I often fall short, but will not give up.

My Interests

Food & Music are definately my top two. I love food becasue i am a cook at heart and a Chef by profession. And I love music because like being a cook I have a passion for music, weither listening or playing i love good music.

what i've been listening to lately: Iron & WIne, Matt Pond PA, Maritime, Promise Ring, Pedro The Lion, Josh Ritter, Richard Johnston, Allman Brothers Band, Death Cab for Cutie, Ida, Beluha, She Keeps Bees, Minus the Bear, Modest Mouse, Built to Spill, Dinosaur Jr, Sebadoh, Band of Horses, & Jason Collet. Thats a pretty fair over view.

Movies:

I like a lot of different types of movies. I can go from "Adaptation" to "Bad Boys 2" & From "300" to "The Science of Sleep", so it just depends on the mood. I also love old movies like "The Fountainhead" "The Man Who Knew to Much" & "North by Northwest"

Television:

Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Sealab 2021, Invader Zim, Simpsons, Family Guy, Cowboy Bebop, Cook's Tour (w/ Anthony Bourdain), No Reservations, 24, Heroes, CSI, MaCgyver, Drew Carey(old stuff), Scrubs, Who's Line is it (with Ryan Styles), I love the 80s, MTV SUCKS! no seriously it does. Plus there are a few guilty pleasures here and there.

Books:

Kitchen Confidential, Harry Potter (all), The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings (all), C.S. Lewis Space Trilogy, Mere Christianity, Bringing Down the House, Treasure Island, Batman: The Long Halloween, Batman: Dark Victory, Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, Eyewitness to History (that is a really cool book)
