I am an Existentialist. My life is guided by the concept of Existentialism: I choose the meaning and purpose of my life.
"It's up to you to give [life] a meaning."
ex·is·ten·tial·ism (gz-stnsh-lzm, ks-)
n - A philosophy that emphasizes the uniqueness and isolation of the individual experience in a hostile or indifferent universe, regards human existence as unexplainable, and stresses freedom of choice and responsibility for the consequences of one's acts.
"Man is condemned to be free; because once thrown into the world, he is responsible for everything he does." --Jean-Paul Sartre
"It is man's natural sickness to believe that he possesses the Truth." --Blaise Pascal

NOW FOR THE FUN STUFF...
First: Don't take any thing that a say seriously... or I will take full advantage of the situation... You will know when I am serious about things... believe me... you will know, but mostly I keep my serious persona behind the glass... he can be a little dramatic at times...
I don't like being PC (Politically Correct)... I can also be very straight forward about things... My philosophy is... "It's better yanking the duck-tape off than slowly pilling it..."
I love the human race...I haven't never known a stranger or a person that I didn't or don't enjoy having in my life...
I am caring, witty and funny. I have my own flaws just like any other people. I am not judgemental when it comes to character flaws. Like a painting, diamonds and vases... everyone has flaws... That's what make us human and different...
My friends would say that I am loyal, A good conversationalist, great cook and a great friend to have in times of need. I am the type of friend that would help you pack, load, drive, unload, and unpack... and yes... I have a truck... I just asked from you one thing... FEED ME!!!
I enjoy everything life has to offer from the bad to the good... You just have to take it and move on... I've been through the good and the bad... and even the ugly... So, I am thankful for everything in my life... cause if "It doesn't kill you... it will make you stronger..."
I enjoy a good opera or live concerts; long day at the museum or just sitting in the park and watching people go by; taking a ride to Dallas to go to the State Fair or just traveling down the road with no destination... it's all good... and did I mention I enjoy a good "HOT", "SWEATTY", "MUGGY", "FREEZING", "DUSTY", "MUDDY", "LONG" (not too painful) mountain bike ride... anytime... any place... ;o)
I have been around the world and visited many interesting places... from Turkey to South Africa to Argentina to Finland... I served this country for 4.5 years and through Desert Storm and my experiences in the Navy made me stronger... I also enjoyed being a college student at UT... and I wouldn't what I got now if I didn't have my college degree...
I've always enjoyed a good laugh and I love making people smile. I can be the best comedian or be the best listener, depending on the situation. I love animals (especially big dogs, horses) and I always try to help any person in need. We are here to help and take care of each other... and when I have it... I give it away... I always give people the benefit of the thought when it comes to wierd situations and I don't play games with other people's time and feelings.
I am a Christian, but I dont like to push my beliefs on other people. Instead, I try to be as open to new ideas and views. I dont follow groups, people or individuals just GOD.
I don't feel weird going to the movies or dinner by myself, but I also like to be around other people and having fun. I enjoy sitting in a theater-plex and watch movies for hours going from one theater to another with my gaint tub of popcorn and cup of soda (with no ice). Then afterwards, sitting around in a cafe or resturant and talking about all the movies.
Finally, I know what I want... I am ambitious, but not a jack-ass about it... When I see something I like and want... I go after it... I give 100% to everything I do... but them sometimes... If I don't feel like giving 100%, I won't...
I'm an open book for the most part...
That's my story and I am sticking to it... ;o)

John Winger: Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear and when I do it's usually something unusual. But now I know why I have always lost women to guys like you. I mean, it's not just the uniform. It's the stories that you tell. So much fun and imagination.
[points to the soldier next to him]
[Winger's girlfriend is leaving him]
John Winger: You can't go. All the plants are gonna die.
John Winger: We're all very different people. We're not Watusi, we're not Spartans, we're Americans. With a capital "A", huh? And you know what that means? Do you? That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world. We are the wretched refuse. We're the underdog. We're mutts.
John Winger: ,[to the soldiers in his platoon]
We're soldiers; but we're American soldiers. We've been kickin' ass for 200 years. We're 10 and 1.
