"Don’t blink you might miss something…"Many words have been used to describe Derek J. Lester since he started RocKing fresh starched jeans, button ups, blazers, argyle sweaters and hard bottom shoes. Way before Usher screamed yea, way before JZ told ya’ll to change clothes and way before Kanye dropped out of college, Derek was hurting the fashion game down in a little bitty city called, MACON GEORGIA! In 2000 Derek stepped fresh onto the campus of Fort Valley State University to pursue a degree in Electronic Engineering, later changing his major to Marketing, which he received his degree in the summer of 2006 on his Birthday July 22, where he wore all black with a black an white Poke-A-Dot tie! "If they didn’t say I was arrogant, I would be perfect…" Fashion is a big part of he’s life. Derek has worked in four major retail stores, first was the GAP second was Express Men, third was with Charlotte Russe, a female clothing store. He decided to work with the other side of the fashion world. And looking at women all day didn’t hurt either! And his current job is with Jos.A.Bank. Don’t get it twisted fashion is still a major part of his life but Derek has another goal that he is trying to accomplish, and that is the Night Life! By joining the luxury entertainment group TeamBBC and also doing his intern at Rock-A-Billy’s dance and concert club he has realized some other great talents that he possesses. Marketing, Promoting and Advertising.
