.. width="425" height="350" ..What's going on everybody my name is Kris Avalon. To tell you a bit about myself, I love all kinds of music particularly H!p Hop, 3dgy pop and 3lectron!c music. I am studying to become an electro/pop/dance music producer and artist in New York City. I'm trying to cr3at3 a new 5ound that I call d!5tort3d pop or dark 3lectro 5ou1, an eclectic mix of N3w Wav3, 5oul, H!p Hop, and 3lectron!ca with a dash of 70's disco. Imagine David Bowie strutting in Alison Goldfrapp's patent leather manolo Blahnik pumps, draped in a flawless outfit by Heatherette on his way to a party at Studio 54. I feel music should be sexy, dark, fun, inspirational, colorful, emotional, dirty, unrefined, edgy, risky, irrational, naughty and did I say sexy? That's how I would discribe the sound in my head. I would like to meet producers, songwriters, actors, graphic designers, visual artists, directors, producers, and other creative entities that can share my dream and vision and help me bring it to life. Always up for meeting new people with different styles and personalities because I think regular people who don't question life, ask questions and go against the establishment are boring and have no purpose in the world and are just walking through life like a zombie. I want to get into party promoting and learn how to DJ so that I can throw some cool parties in and around NYC. I think nerdy boys are hot. I think hot guys with a intillectual mind are even hotter. My goal as an artist is to change people's perception of gay men of color. It's about time we start seeing Black, Latino, Asian and even multiracial gay men represented in the media and not be seen as incompetent eunics. I'm a big fan of horror movies and psychological thrillers so if you're into the same we can definitely be friends. Even cooler if you like Comic books, horror and sci fi films and being a proud gay male comes with the package. Clive Barker, Johnny Depp and Marilyn Manson are my idols. I love to party and have a good time with like minded freaks like myself. GOD is my DJ, I worship at the Church of Clubland, the music moves my spirit and I like to confess on the dancefloor. I am working on a couple of stories in the genre of sci-fi and horror and in the next couple of weeks I'll be posting my work and asking for feedback. There are so many things I want to accomplish in my life. One of the many is to write, direct and star in a gay horror movie and unleash it onto the mainstream world. Others would be to put out an album, DJ clubs around the world, write adult novels and childrens books, produce and star in a few television shows, change the world for the better, inspire people to feel good about themselves and think beneath the surface. Music is a powerful medium and I believe music inspires, provokes and emotionalizes people for better or worse. I can talk @bout other th!ngs a5 w3ll, but @m interested in talking and meeting people in the arts. Girls, guys, gays, str8, tranni3, fr3aks mul3 or aliens who have camel toes and practice Scientology. It doesn't matter to me one way or another. Just be sane, comfortable in your own skin, have a good head on your shoulders and be able to c@rry a convo. Peace!
