Being a Mom is a wonderful previldge full of laughter, love, and challanges. My daughter Addison who is now 15 months old has grown and developed so fast that I can hardly remember what it was like when she wasn't running, talking and getting into practically everything. She is funny, independent, and caring, all attributes I admire.I find that life can be fleeting, and often times have to stop myself to enjoy the moment. Along with everyday living, I try to see the beauty of life all around me and thank God for all that there is.My husband Larry and I have been together now for 8 years. Although we did not have wedding, we still call each other husband and wife. We share a lot in common, mostly having to do with our family and future together. We hope to one day travel more and even plan on moving out of state to enjoy a new place unlike Colorado. I love the ocean and Larry loves Arizona. So we will have to compromise.I have been living in Colorado all my life and would like to see what else is out there. Maybe I will find that Colorado is exactly where I need to be.In my free time I love to read, bicycle, hike, play with my daughter and walk my dogs. The outdoors and nature are my place of serentity.I am working at the UCDHSC as a PRA in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Biometrics. Our study is the SEARCH for diabetes in the youth.
