bad influence? or just a strong personality?

About Me

There are only a few people in the music business that are as multi-facited as David Waxman. From nightclub promoter, to nightclub manager, to DJ and producer, to A&R director and label executive, to manager, he is the epitome of diversity. He has also mixed 15 compilations ranging from chilled, to classics, to electro, to trance and you can hear this diversity in his sets. Whether he is playing at one of the largest clubs in in the country, or an ultra exclusive VIP club, he has a unique style that transcends genres. This native New Yorker has been working professionally behind the decks for over 15 years and although starting off in the city that never sleeps, Waxman first gained notoriety during his residency in South Beach at the celebrity infested Liquid, where he was first to import the New York progressive sound that became popular for years to follow. Upon returning to the New York club scene, he was offered a monthly residency at the world famous Twilo. His monthly residency evolved into a weekly Saturday night residency opening for Junior Vasquez and his 7+ hour sets were praised by Mixer, Muzik and Mixmag magazines. David Waxman now spins at Crobar in New York, during his monthly House of Wax branded residency can be seen and heard behind the decks at various clubs around America like Time in Montreal and Ruby Skye in San Francisco. When hes not playing the hottest records on the weekends, he is signing them during the week at Ultra Records, where he is the Director of A&R.DISCOGRAPHY: MIXED COMPILATIONS:Welcome To New York - Released 2001/ Ultra Chilled.01 - Released 2001/ Ultra Chilled.02 - Released 2002/ Ultra Chilled.03 - Released 2002/ Ultra Trance.01 - Released 2002/ Ultra 80s Vs Electro.01 - Released 2002/ Ministry Of Sound: American Anthems - Released 2003/ Ultra Trance.02 - Released 2003/ Ultra Chilled.04 - Released 2003/ Music To Make Love By - Released 2003/ Ultra Chilled.05 - Released 2004/ Ultra Trance.04 - Released 2004/ Ultra Dance.05 - Released 2004/ Ministry Of Sound: The Annual 2005 - Released 2004/ Ultra Electro.01 - Out April 2006/
