My name is Ahleah, yes like the singer, and I’m so happy that you’ve come across my page!
I live and work in Seminole, Florida. I’m a proud owner of an E-Learning company (www.aelearn.com), which specializes in Technical E-Learning services.
In 2003, I moved to Florida to connect with my then boyfriend, Eric. A while after I moved we got engaged and then married a year later. (Yep, we waited a whole year after the engagement to make the BIG commitment.) We met up with 100 close friends and family for an intimate wedding and reception which was spectacular. It was so low-key but elegant and truly a night to remember forever. Some of you may already know- Eric and I have a great connection and a special bond. Our love goes deeper than most will ever know and our daily relationship with God helps make our marriage complete.
Eric and I have finally settled into our new home. (You're invited to view the photos of our home in my gallery.) Eric and I are proud parents to a toddler, his name is Caden and he's the sweetest baby I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. God is so very good!
The best part about living in Seminole, besides the people, is the wonderful outdoor activities. We have some of the best botanical gardens, nature trails, and parks around. It's great if you are a nature person. It doesn't hurt that we live about a mile from the beach either.
Giving Back
Eric and I are big contributors to foundations dealing with neuromuscular diseases like the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association). My husband is one of thousands affected by this condition. His condition is best known as SMA, Spinal Muscular Atrophy. This condition affects your muscles in the limbs and the respiratory system. I am so proud of all of his accomplishments. We are both very open about this condition and I will continue to be an advocate for finding a cure. Too many lives have been affected and lost by such conditions. Being a part of someone's life that deals with this everyday has been a life lesson for me. It has taught me to truly appreciate even the simplest things in life. Nothing too small can be taken for granted. I will always be grateful for that experience.
Eric and I along with a few of our friends from MDA are speakers/mentors for the MDA Peer Support Group. We love doing this and I'll post blogs to keep everyone updated!
Im a spiritual person, who has a deep and personal relationship with the Lord. Eric and I are active members in our church, First Christian Church of Seminole. Eric and I enjoy the atmosphere and our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. If you are looking for a church that is truly here to glorify God then FCCS is definitely the church to attend. My Personality…Flaws and AllI am a disciple of God, an honest person and can be opinionated but not overly. You won't always like what I say and I won't always like what I hear. I know who I am and I like going to sleep at night knowing my personality and self being hasn’t been compromised by misrepresenting something I truly feel.
My Philosophy
Okay well let’s start off with…One love! We can all learn so much from each other if we keep ourselves open to it. If you feel incomplete look to Jesus! Embrace all that is good and beautiful in all cultures, beliefs and ways of life. Don’t limit yourself! You must take risks to gain. Don’t stay comfortable! Be spontaneous and never stop searching, learning, experiencing, or broadening your horizons. Rather than prejudging, give everyone and everything a fair chance. Do not give into bitterness. Keep your perspective and make good out of even bad situations or experiences and then learn from them. And above all, love each other deeply!
I am very blessed and so happy to be exactly where I am. I couldn’t ask for more!
I'm fun spirited, adventurous, positive, open to everyone and everything without prejudgments (really!), energetic and friendly. I strive for the balance of growing in wisdom yet preserving innocence. I love God and people. I enjoy learning new things. I’m gentle and loving, creative and bright but sometimes silly and scatterbrained (Ha, imagine that!). I’m also easy going and enjoy the outdoors, nature, city nightlife as well as peaceful home life. I LOVE exploring, experiencing and trying new things. Although none of us are perfect, let's try our best to be a positive influence on the people placed in our path. Don't underestimate your influence!
