" / Get Your Own Voice Player Manage*STEVEN JAMES BULFER*Habitatt started doing musik in 1997, a year after his father was brutally murdered two days before Christmas in 1996. Depression bottled up in his chest for years before lyrics started to form his art. Habitat joined a band called "UDS" UNCLE DAVES SHIT in 1998-99 that was into Reggae and Rock Rap. Long story short, they made it to EdgeFest with Cypress Hill and Disturbed and shorty split. Well just Habitat did. Soon after, Habitat began to dapple in making hip hop and recording with cheap ass gear. Habitat found his niche and met a producer named Steve Valenzuela "Sensei" of Southwest Division. He showed him the ropes and gave him an outlook on the game in Arizona which was full of haters. For two or three years Habitattwrote rhymes and made unfinished song after unfinished song. A project was never finished but an arsenal of musik was continually put on the backburner. In late 2002, Habitatt enrolled for the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Arizona. It was the Conservatory that put his whole career in perspective. One day after a really big exam, the name for the project was born.. Skatabrain!!!! He was laying on an huge pile of papers compiled of lyrics that were written that year ,and this pile of paper was his album in raw form with no beats. lol with not much production on the beat side of things, he ventured off and started to produce his own beats and also started to record himself. This was tough because he was juggling the whole HIP HOP game with not much help. This was a good move though because being a hip hop utility man will soon be vital for his career. (Good lord willing) Later down the road, Habitatt got a credit card and maxed it out on some gear to start his dream on credit. lol NOW he has turned into a full blown nerdy audio geek that juggles every aspect of Hip hop and recording music. The album "Habitatt presents Skatabrian" will soon hit airwaves in early 2007. SO WATCH OUT FOR HABITATT!!
