About Me

I am currently studying at Warwick University to become a teacher. Scary stuff! I am LOVING my course (geek! lol) and have made some lovely friends here.I graduated from Loughborough Uni in July - from a Drama and English course, which was great fun. It is also where I made friends with Charmaine and Jen - two girls I love sooo much!I have been with my bf Matt for over three years now (how grown up I am!!) and I love him to pieces. He is my rock!! We are really really happy, and enjoy travelling together - we spent a month in Thailand this summer, which was an amazing experience and an amazing country!I enjoy spending time with my mates back home too (Rach, Si, Martin) as they are all crazy like me, and can always manage to put a smile on my face no matter how tough the day has been!!!

Erm, my nan who died when I was much younger. She sounds an amazing women - I only wish I had the opportunity to see that for myself.

Music:

Mainly indie ... but into anything really. Think it depends on the night out, and the company I am with. Of course - I love ol' lesbian karoke on a fri nite guys (woo,woo,woooo!! hehe) and then Reflex from there - haha! But I'm also partial to ol' Snobs (classic!) and the bars in the Arcadian. What an ecclectic girly I am ;O)

Movies:

Dont have the attention span for them! haha. But of course, as every girl would agree "Dirty Dancing" is a beast - and I am going to see the stage show in May (thanku Matty! hehehe). I cannot wait!!!!

Television:

Can never be bothered with it really - though I have really got into this whole "Ugly Betty" thing - tho i am totally into fashion, and would LOVE to work in that world (...tho know I wouldn't last a minute! haha). And, of course ol' Sex and the City is a CLASSIC!!!!

Books:

1984, Brave New World, Flowers for Algernon, The Handmaidens Tale - all AMAZING! At the moment I am readin "Devil Wears Prada" - and obvs it is a very simple read, and you dont have to think about it - but it is so fun. I am loving it!!!

Heroes:

My mom - but sooo many people have touched my life in ways that they would have NO idea. I believe I am blessed to be surrounded with the kindness and goodness that I have. Everyone is so supportive - and I have learnt and taken something from everyone who has walked on my lil lonely road :O)
