Born with the God given name of Damien Salazar, WOO was transformed into a name by the many fans screaming for this artist at his shows. WOO has traveled throughout the country performing his music as well as adding his talent as a bass player and vocalist to other local and national acts. WOO's music is the heart and soul of this man. WOO proudly spouts his slogan phrase: "KEEP ROCK'N & ROLL'N - MOV'N & GROOV'N!"WOO grew up in a small town just outside of Kansas City. Living so close to a town full of vibrant history with blues has tremendously molded his sound . WOO claims: "Without the musical culture of Kansas City lifestyle, I would have never found my soul." Make no mistake, WOO is a true fan of rock and roll.WOO has traveled across the United States hanging his hat in such places as: Nashville, Phoenix, and Los Angeles - to name a few. This experience with traveling personifies the musicians life. It shows the true essence of a man that is determined to let the world hear the creations that his heart has made. WOO hopes that everyone that hears his music will find a place of truth in their hearts where they can relate easily to his music.WOO is a songwriter and performer that wants the audience leaving with the feeling that they were not alone with their feelings and that someone can help express what it is to feel love, hate, pain, and joy. There is never a moment where WOO has not put 100% into his performance and music creation.
