Traveling, learning about new cultures. Also, I love watching comedy, any kind. From Flying Circus, to Mr. Show, the Chapelle Show and Family Guy. I like going to dinner with friends, and laughing over a few glasses of wine. I love to read. I try and read almost everything that comes my way, so long as I am interested in it. I like to try new things, and take risks in life, and I love roller coasters!
And I love cats, for reasons like this, among others:
Jesus Christ, but that will never happen. Who else...I think that's it. I am pretty content with the people that I know.
Young Folks:
I am a big fan of instrumental music. Anywhere from trance/electronica to classical/symphony/opera music. Also I have recently really gotten into this band called The Presets. They are from Australia, and they totally kick ass. Check them out. Also, Ursula 1000 is an interesting band. They have strange, but catchy music. It's a mix between electronica and James Bond music. It has really grown on me. I also really like 80's synth pop, i.e. New Order, Early Depeche Mode, some of the Cure, Erasure...the list can go on forever.
As previously stated, I love comedy, so many of my favorite movies are comedies, though not all. They are as follows:Robin Hood men in tights (Mel Brooks film),
Wet Hot American Summer,
Fatal Instinct,
Super Troopers,
Cabin Boy,
Sorority Boys,
Being John Malkovich,
Vanilla Sky (Best love story of all time, if one can fully understand it),
American Psycho,
Donnie Darko,
Any Monty Python; The Meaning of Life, The Life of Brian, The Holy Grail.
The Young Poisoners Handbook,
The Royal Tenenbaums,
The Life Aquatica,
The Pest, Clockwork Orange,
What the Bleep do we Know?
La Auberge Espanol (if you like traveling), Patton, Trainspotting.
I know that is not it, but that is all I can think of right now.
I don't really watch TV, but if I do I only watch DVD version comedy. Such as Upright Citizens Brigade, Mr. Show, Chapelle Show, Flying Circus, Strangers with Candy, Family Guy, The Office, American Dad, Mind of Mencia, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report (Last two are how I receive all of my news), Reno 911, Kids in the Hall, Son of the Beach, and classic In Living Color.
In Search of Schrodinger's Cat,
The Celestine Prophecies, The Time Traveler's Wife, The Nichomachean Ethics by Aristotle, The Metaphysics,
A Wrinkle in Time,
The Miracle of Fasting, Plato's The Republic,
Philosophical Dilemmas,
American Psycho,
Time Travel,
The Universe in a Nutshell & A Brief History of Time (Stephen Hawking),
The Fifth Dimension,
The Secret History of Ancient Egypt,
Vagabonding, Letters from a Nut.
I like the books that I read to be aiming at answering some questions in which the answers are to big for any of us to know, or even to comprehend. I tend to gravitate towards alot of the philosophical topics, rather than the practical topics of life. i.e. Time Travel.
My Mother, Father, and three wonderful Sisters. My nephew isn't too bad either. I am a family girl. I would much rather praise those that I know than those that I will never know, whom even if I knew would not give two shits about me. I am my own hero.
