Bang your head, metal health will drive you mad!

About Me

My Bio(Written in 3rd person because I'm a writer, not because I'm insane!):Jason "Savage" Mansavage is a self-proclaimed metal head from Stevens Point, Wisconsin. He has spent his entire life here except for a three year stint in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Colorado as a Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Specialist. Since he first interviewed a friend's band in high school, it has been his dream to write about music. He pens CD, demo and concert reviews and interviews bands for several metal/hard rock e-zines including Metal Judgment, KNAC, Rough Edge and Electric Basement, a local print mag named X-Press Magazine, and he has his own column entitled: "Rock Spew: Hard Rock Ranting and Raving" in a regional print mag called Maximum Ink. You can also check out his new web site called Underground Theory at: http://www.undergroundtheory.com Jason has decided to go back to school and is pursuing a BA in communication with an emphasis in public relations and journalism at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. When he "grows up," he hopes to either write for a magazine that actually pays money or to work in the music industry in some capacity such as PR, booking, management, promotions or A&R.If he wins the lottery, he plans to start his own record label and sign all the talented bands that get passed over by the labels that think they know what WE want to hear! If everyone that reads this would send him $1.00 or more, he could finally start his own record label!!!!! Please contact him via a message if you are a serious investor.

My Interests

Having sex, listening to music (mainly metal and hard rock), going to concerts, buying CDs, watching movies, buying DVDs, disc golfing, golfing, football, writing reviews, interviewing bands, collecting Batman memorabilia, vampires, serial killers, collecting Native American art or anything with wolves, going to bars and shooting pool (billiards), darts and foosball and playing video games(Madden 2004, GTA III & Vice City, Tiger Woods 2004 and more...). I enjoy playing Trivia such as the NTN version or even the video game version in the bar as well as Trivial Pursuit. I also play in the World's Largest Trivia contest hosted by WWSP 90FM college radio in Stevens Point every April. It is held for 54 straight hours with about 8 questions per hour and I stay awake the whole weekend with my team! I also love playing games like Dungeons & Dragons and Axis & Allies.

If you need a shoulder to cry on or just someone to vent to, I'm the cheapest shrink you'll ever meet!
