About Me

I worked in greyhound adoption for several years and am taking a little time off for other pursuits at the moment (mostly school), but we still have our Sammy, a retired-racing greyhound who just turned 11. I work in law enforcement as an analyst. I'm all about living in harmony with my surroundings... I have a gorgeous daughter (scary how beautiful she is) and I'm a very proud mom. My darling husband has been with me 13 years now and spoils me silly... I'm perpetually in school, but I'm currently enjoying a rare summer off.

Music:

My Ipod shuffle has quite an assortment... pretty eclectic mixture... from Marilyn Manson to drumming artist James Asher, with a little Spinnaker thrown in for good measure... There's really not much I dislike... except maybe rap... OK, there are some good rap artists too. What I dislike is the lack of innovation it takes to steal someone else's background track and rap to it, but when an artist actually writes their own music, I'm good with it. I come from a very musical family, so I sing every chance I get (which is mostly in my car on the way to work).

Movies:

Gone with the Wind (No age jokes please!), The Color Purple... I cry every time! A Knight's Tale... that Heath Ledger is just a cutie...

Television:

Charmed! Law & Order (ok... so those don't seem to GO together... ya wanna make something of it?) I'm usually working so hard at my web design business that the television is just background noise and I turn on something I've seen a thousand times so I can work.
