About Me

Drive you crazy, never lazy
Eye rollin', funky strollin'
Long legged, hip swayin', trouble makin', booty shakin'
Tripping, passing, jumping, bouncing
Drivin', stylin', creeping, pouncing
Shoutin', screamin', double dealin'
Rockin', rollin', and a reelin'

My Interests

STUFF I"M INTO: Van Gogh"s wheat fields, dancing 'til it hurts, believing in magic

I'd like to meet:

"I won't harm you or touch your defenses, vanity, insecurity." Anyone who can keep up with the madness and misadventure.

Music:

"Where would I be without sampled noise?" punk, post punk, synthpop, ebm, industrial, american gothic, space rock, indie rock, dark wave, classical, britpop, new wave, shoegaze, rockabilly, old country, show tunes, torch songs, dark cabaret, anything I can dance to....and all that jazzStop trying. "I don't want you. I don't want you. Stop trying. You want me, but I--want to dance."

Movies:

"Flashing pictures with no sound" Burtonphile first and foremost: Edward Scissorhands, Big Fish, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Young Fantasy kind of stuff: The Princess Bride, Labyrinth, Harry Potter, The Dark Crystal. Classics like Gone With the Wind. Mobster movies: Goodfellas, Godfather and the like. Oh, and Things to do in Denver When You're Dead. Movies I grew up on: Goonies, Ferris Bueller, Lost Boys and other 80s classics. Musicals, some horror, pre-1994 Disney animation, weird and/or silly stuff, and anything with Mr. Depp.

Television:

"I'll give you television. I'll give you eyes of blue." Stopped watching it a long time ago. Don't miss it except for Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, and History Channel 'cause I'm a nerd.

Books:

"Don't burn the library 'til you've read all the books" Can't get enough classics, children's, non-fiction, fantasy, sci-fi, young adult, biographies, textbooks, the back of cereal boxes and not-so-trashy novels. Books I recommend are: "The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger and "Shadows of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

Heroes:

"Anyone who's ever gone and opened up a closing door"
