................................IM HAITIAN. I am proud to be haitian because of the history, the culture and the life. The history: christopher columbus discover Hyspaniola, a small island in the carribean, which was an indian freeland that later became Haiti. In 1804, our four fathers, Toussaint Louverture, Jean-Jacques Dessalines, Henry Christophe, Petion Alexandre came together and fought for our freedom and thats when we became the first black independent country. The culture: through our years we invent and manifacture our own stuff. we even develop kompa which is a style of music and dance that we originate.The life: everyone live freely in Haity, you can do mostly anything you want, for example, little kids can even buy beer. Mostly everyone knows another, i know people that have seen me only once and knew who's son i was. I love been haitian because the history revolve around me, the culture is in me and i live the life of an haitian.
