HELLYEAH is Vinnie Paul Abbott's new band.HELLYEAH's self-titled debut album arrives on April 10. The band also features MUDVAYNE singer Chad Gray and guitarist Greg Tribbett, along with NOTHINGFACE guitarist Tom Maxwell and bassist Jerry Montano. Abbott recently told MTV.com that the HELLYEAH CD is "the best record I've been a part of since [PANTERA's 1992 classic] 'Vulgar Display of Power'." He said, "The thing that makes me feel that way about it is, when we made 'Vulgar', it was just magic. It happened. Everybody's mindset was in the right place. After that record, we never had that same vibe. We still made amazing records, but there were all these forces pulling us in different directions. So when we made [the HELLYEAH] record, I had that same kind of feeling. It was just too easy. Everybody was into it. And I feel these songs are that strong, and I think everybody brought something special to the table."It's just a special record," he added, "and I really believe we're gonna be f---ing kick-ass live. We haven't done any live shows yet, but I know that everybody comes from a band that's been known as a kick-ass live band. So I know the five of us together are going to make some hellacious noise."

ABOUT ME31 year old single musician in the west la/venice beach area. Looking to network with other musicians and anyone who likes to party and have a good time!!Been a drummer 21 years and it's my whole life.I eat,breathe,and sleep drumming.I am currently drumming for a couple of local LA bands.Divine Era and Dark 32.Other than that,I try to have as much fun as I can while trying to survive this lab rat race track known as LA.I like to go out to clubs on the strip.Some of my favorites are,Roxy Whiskey,Key Club,The Good Hurt in Venice,and of course my favorite,The Rainbow Bar and Grill!!I grew up in a small town in Nevada called,Hawthorne,at last count the population was around 2000 people...in the whole town.After High School,I attended Musicians Institute in 1995-96 and was instructed exclusively by Ray Luzier.I recieved the "Best Rock Stylist Award"when I graduated.I have toured Europe, Japan,and the southwestern United States as well.
