These are the THINGS I LEARNED IN LIFE:We all feel the need to find SOMEONE who would give our lives direction,feel our fears,our pains,give us courage to move us from our SOLITARY confinement.Someone who would provide us w/ a total UNDERSTANDING of ourselves.However in reality no such person exist and we don't like to believe that.We have to learn to feel our own feelings and live our own lives.No one else is QUALIFIED for this job but you.There is NO such thing as a RIGHT person for you---he/she is the right person for you because you choose them to play such a role.ANYBODY could be the right person if you want them to be---the difficult part is sticking by your DECISIONS---that takes CONVICTION and CHARACTER . To have such traits requires MATURITY.I hate HYPOCRITES especially the overly religious types. Because It really does not matter what you say you BELIEVE in--- what matters is how you LIVE your life.The character of a man is determined by his faith. FAITHcould be anything.A religion a belief a PRINCIPLE--when you fail to live up to this principle you become shallow--you become NOTHING.One of our greatest fear is UNCERTAINTY.Sometimes in our quest to find all the answers in life we find only more questions.There are times in w/c it's better to just let things unfold naturally.Know that we must live w/out all the answers and that's ok.ACCEPTANCE contrary to popular belief is not met w/ much enthusiasm. Often times it is done out of DESPERATION. An attempt to make a now half empty life into a half filled one. Acceptance is not smiling foolishly w/ the hand that fate has dealt w/ you--rather it is learning to live w/ life's consequences each day.Know that no matter how tough life may get ---there would always be something you could COUNT ON. Eventhough sometimes the only things that you could count on are the stars in the night or the falling rain in your face.There would always be at least 1 thing left for you---find 1 reason to go on and hold on to that.HUG THE MOMENT.For No matter how difficult times may be you will remember this as 1 of your better days later on.Believe me. NOTHING in life is PERMANENT. nothing we GAIN can ever give us permanent happiness---nor as nothing we LOSE can ever give us permanent sorrow.When the winds of change blows some people make walls--while others make windmills.DAMAGED perhaps but REFUSING to be BROKEN....They say it's not what happens to us that matters---but how we interpret it that determines the outcome.Thus, there is NO such thing as an EMOTIONAL PROBLEM---only a PHILOSOPHICAL one.I'm ONE year older but MANY years WISER than a year ago......Tell me w/c is better.Being alone for the rest of your life or being left alone every time?clinging on to the past or hugging an uncertain future?wisdom gain tru a painful realization or to continue living happily in a delusion?That's life.
