OMNIBUS - Living with Animals EP - 12" - NormREX records 2006
Omnibus is a collaborative effort with Dustin Coffey & Skyler McGlothlin aka Nautilis / Malcom Kipe . Dustin Coffey is a beat producer, digger, and graphic designer in the Austin, Texas area. In the 10 years we've known each other we have been through countless musical phases, hip hop, drum n bass, rock, punk, funk, and blues. 10 years later we have finally come together with a solid release. The project was going to be released with Coredump Records but Jay the owner recently passed away. It was very sad news for everyone and he will be missed dearly RIP.
We have recently connected with Geoff Anenberg - NormREX Label head. NormREX is a beautiful new baby in NYC. The roster is starting with Machine Drum, Jimmy Edgar, Nautilis, and talk of possibly eDIT. Geoff has agreed to release the Omnibus project and we are very happy to be working with him.
The Omnibus project is going to feature several local Austin Artists - Cerebral Vortex , Buddy Leroy , and horns and rhythm players from Brownout . We are recording the project at Media Tech / Arlyn Studios and are planning to have the album complete this fall. The 12" single will be released this summer.
