I love music; I love to look at it, taste it, imbibe it, sleep with it (platonically of course), go for long starry-night walks with it, and I'm all about deep conversation with it. Oh, and a stressful day is incurable without a long drive and some good music. I'm not really one of those people who tries to counter their mood by playing something happy to take my mind off things, or by playing something meaningful to jar inspiration on a light day. More or less, misery=Radiohead, Counting Crows. anger=A Perfect Circle, Staind. Bottom of the Barrel= Sarah McLachlan, Jewel, Evanescence. Happy= booty shakin' music and possibilities of a dance club.and that's how I like it.I love to dance; I'm not saying I'm great at it, but I'm also not saying I go to clubs to grind on somebody else. Dancing alone or in a group of people is fine with me; but if I like you, that might be a whole other ball park.Every now and then, in fact, most of the time, I'd like to just relax inside with some close friends and good conversation. I love to laugh! Who doesn't, right? But that's important to me, I start to get uneasy if everyone's just sitting around chit-chatting monotonously. I hear I'm dramatic; I like to think I'm just...flavorful.I don't party too much; the idea of meeting people is nice, but the actual process of getting dressed up, going some place, having a few drinks and flirting around can only take a girl so far.I HATE DATING! I hate it without restraint! I mean, hanging out with a guyfriend for awhile and then realizing you like him as more is okay with me; it's highly preferred, in fact. But going out with a bunch of friends and then having some random person call you the next day and want to "go some place" is just inviting the uncomfortable. After an hour of getting to know each other, there's the rest of the night for blistering silence, not very appealing. I know I know, there's no *action* in friendship, but you have to start somewhere.I'm a Pisces. I haven't joined an underground astrological cult, but my horoscope excites me.

White Oleander, CLOSER, Crash, Office Space, Interview with a Vampire, Meet Joe Black, Fried Green Tomatoes, Dumb and Dumber, Seven, Saw (the plot was incredible, the acting was a little shaky at times), Waking Life, Superstar, The Wedding Crashers, Old School, Silence of the Lambs (scaaared the crap out of me), Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Gattaca, Moulin Rouge, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet (with Ethan Hawke), Lost in Translation, My Best Friend's Wedding, Homeroom, Wasted
I don't watch much tv, but Family Guy is definitely a favorite, as well as Comedy Central Presents (I WILL have my way with Dane Cook!! You can not stop me); Nip/Tuck can also be grotesquely amusing at times. I miss Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond. I also used to carry a strange attraction to David Boreanez from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. my favorite past time show, however, would have to be the anime Sailor Moon; I had an impressive collection of all the characters and some comics, but fucking Katrina ate it.
