After high school I attended UNCC. I really blossomed into myself after high school. I experienced ALOT in college. Some good. Some bad. I also suffered one of my worst heartbreaks ever during college. OK...one of two. ;)On April 9, 1998, my precious Kaley came into my life. She became my life and gave me a whole new purpose. 18 months into her life, I met my future husband, Richard. I couldn't have asked for a better father figure and friend in him. After a long engagement (well according to my friends..but perfect for me!), we got married on May 31,2003. On September 23, 2004, Richard and I welcomed our daughter Hannah to our family. After Hannah's birth, I stopped teaching to become a SAHM to my girls. While the benefits are rewarding to be able to stay at home for them, I miss teaching. For right now I spend my time learning about living a "healthier" life for my family. Always researching for all natural products. Recycling. Taking up jogging again...but man it's hot outside right now! Dancing to whatever moves me. Making friends. Helping out on my lifesaver site CM!!! The "mommy mafia" rules! I'm also known as the resident shopper amongst my friends. Is that bad? I don't think so. What's wrong with looking good I ask? Totally contradicts my hippy/granola side...but that's me!
