As a young girl, Melissa felt music was the one thing, which created an escape from reality. With no one to impress, she was free in her own world to fill the room with magical sounds. Whether on the piano, or singing, there was never a silent moment in her household. Encouraged to attempt an instrument, Miss Danese has been playing the piano since the age of five, and has gained much appreciation for not only popular artists, but the enchanting sounds of great Classical composers and Motown legends.
Currently studying Music at the University of Windsor, this mezzo-soprano is challenging herself to the fullest degree by studying the Olympics of singing - Opera. Her heart however lies with the soulful sounds of jazz and R&B.
