Sounds Like: 24/7 Review"Unafraid to take genre-hopping to great heights, Bristol-bred BEDMONSTER are a rare act: both commercial and alternative (given the many scenepandering acts today). Grabbing fistfuls of funk and rock with shades of reggae, each track exudes a tautness reminiscent of Incubus or The Police. Taking stylistic cues from the aforementioned, ‘Headset’ rocks in dark places, adding plenty of danceability into the bargain. ‘Stupid Me’ strolls a sunnier path, with classic stomping rhythms embracing delicious soul-soaked harmonies. Think of Gomez and Hendrix jamming on MTV. In many ways, contagious is the watchword for Bedmonster, and it shouldn’t be long before the world catches this lot."www.myspace.com/bedmonsters
