About Me

LANGUR'S 1ST ALBUM 'JOKES I DON'T GET' IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE!
9 SONG CD FOR £5.00

Free P+P in UK. See blog for more details on album.

Langur is a three piece band from Bristol, England. They formed in November 2005. They don't take pouty pictures of themselves very often.
'The songs seemed to cross the decades and genres with wilful abandon, mostly delivered at a fast and furious pace.
But it was on the few quieter numbers that you realised there is a lot more to this band than simple punky aggression; they also write clever, well crafted songs.
' - Bristol Evening Post '"Well there must be limits to what can be done with a standard three piece band, surely?". That is my general opinion for such setups, but really, if anyone is there to break the mould it's Langur.
With punk aggression, Post-Rock sensibilities and a fair helping of funk thrown in for good measure, Langur display plenty of energy in their well crafted three minute wonders.
