About Me

I am the mother of one son, Jack, age three. I am married to Phil since August 2000, who makes me laugh, still. He has a collection of bad music which is surprisingly entertaining. He is a musician and you can check out his Billy Stealth page (yes that's him in a death metal wig) but I forewarn you, it's bad (on purpose). I enjoy baking, especially with whole grains and have my own grain mill. Can you believe we have a source for whole spelt berries in Marianna? Who knew? I still feel like I am learning the basics of living. I have a hard time being gracious with myself. I have a b.f.f. from high school who lives in Texas (Brooke), a b.f.f. from college who lives in Ohio (Melody), and my immediate family are five hours away. Sometimes I have to be content with amusing myself, which actually isn't so hard. I am interested in quantum physics (the phenomena, not the college class) and I have a passion for excellent writing. (I suppose everyone has a passion for what he or she cosiders excellent literature. Personally, I enjoy the way Charlotte Bronte engages her reader instead of narrating endlessly about details.) I happen to believe the Bible is God breathed and also believe what is written in it. I love the words that set me free with every approach, you know the truth that relieves me of my burden and says this, "By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for me- set me right with Him, make me fit for Him- I have it all together with God because of my master Jesus. And that's not all. I throw open open my doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open His door to me! I find myself standing where I always hoped I might stand- out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory shouting my praise." You can find these words and more in Romans 5. I find when I make them mine they produce life after themselves. This is why I love Jesus, He's never left me alone. Thanks for the Lemonade!!

My Interests

I love the books!!! I enjoy stories, especially biographies and first person narratives. I have a special interest in near death experiences and have read personal accounts of them since high school. Sometimes I go on spiritlessons.com and download while cleaning. I have a degree in interior design, which I happen to love. Don't ask me any technical design questions unless you want a technical answer, though. I tend to be a bit nerdy and perfectionist about it all. My main interest, however, is Perfect love (Jesus)...which casts out fear. I would love to tell you about it Him you want to know, He is my life.
