I am here for Friends

About Me

I am from Ellijay, pronounced LA-j. Not born, but raised. Joined the high school theater where I was bitten by the bug, so I bit it back and went to Piedmont College for a degree in theater. But the Lord had other plans, He led me to the Ocoee river where I spent 5 years perfecting the art of trashing people in class IV rapids. I met some of the coolest people there and will continue to push rubber downstream until I die. However the money wasn't very good so me and my wife moved to Athens, GA where I managed a Cingular store. Then I got promoted again to district manager and we moved to Florida, with Verizon though. After moving for the company the ended up shutting down the market around me and left me stuck. So I decided to open my own business and do furniture repair. I love it, slow start though. God's will be done. If anyone is interested in rafting check out questexpeditions.com. another passion of mine is dancing, not ballet or anything, but pop-n-lock, liquid, gliding, etc. My biggest passion and love is Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Without Him I would be nothing, with Him I am able to move mountains. He lifts my soul and makes solid my ground. His love never fails and I cherish His refinement.

My Interests

everything that grabs my attention.

I'd like to meet:

If I could meet anyone in history it would be Jesus. I would probably annoy Him with all of the questions I would ask. If it has to be another person then it would be the apostle Paul. This guy was pretty amazing. He went from persecuting and killing Christians to proclaiming Jesus everywhere he went. He was truly transformed by the Holy Spirit. He is a great example of how anyone, no matter how bad you are, no matter how flawed, can still be an instrument of the Lord. You can still accept the gift of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, and He will fulfill the deepest desires of your heart, even if you don't know what they are yet, and we usually don't. I would also like to meet the River. Any river, that can toss me in a hole and choose to take my life or let me go.

Music:

Breakbeats, Jungle -the darker the better, trance - the music to be played on the streets of gold, Widespread Panic- I am a raft guide, Pink Floyd- the soundtrack to my life.

Movies:

The Aqua-Teen movie is a trip.

Television:

TV sucks!! too many commericals and crappy reality shows. If you need to watch reality tv to have a life then you need to get off of the couch and do something, go rafting, have a life of your own.

Books:

Any book that makes you smarter is a good book. The Bible is the best book to have in your possession, but you have to actually read it. With all books about God though, if it is expressing a 'new idea' then it isn't going to be a good one. "Nothing that is true is new, and nothing new is true."

Heroes:

Super Captian Hero Man. He is a crackhead turned super hero through a gift from the Tiny Ass Mouse Cup.

I don't really know what that subject means, except we have some big changes that have happened. The company I was with decided that only a year after we moved to Florida that they were just going to ...

Lovundance (might be offensive to some)

Lovundance. It is what God has for us all. An abundance of love. We can see it everyday, with people who are suffering heartache, or with people who have undergone radical therapy of many types. You ...

So Annoying

I just hate it when I go to the kitchen to make myself a bowl of cereal and after filling the bowl I come to find out that we have run out of milk. To make matters worse, the carton is still in the fr...

Sanity

Sanity It seemed to feel forever right....Slowly night to day.As the noose pulls ever tightmy string begins to fray. Sanity served with a grain of saltThe dinner bell heard over the hills. Many to eat....
