MySpace BackgroundsIllustrating, drawing, printing, paper sculpting, doodling, scrawling, sketching, painting, pixel pushing and beating my painted head against the taunting unblemished snowy whiteness of a sheet of paper. Go to www.pingcreative.co.uk to see the results. Thelema, Magick, Qabala and Tarot. Music; mostly metal, electronica, punk, indie, classic rock, rock'n'roll, classical. Movies. Travel anywhere- when I can afford!
Anyone who likes my drawings and anyone like minded and interesting. Add me if you like my stuff. And clients, lots of clients.

StarWars, Kubrick, Miyazaki, Horror movies and guilty pleasure movies (Howard the Duck? Hudson Hawk? Hmmm, do all duff movies have a bird in the title?)
'50 cartoons like the original Superman, Ray Patin studios animation, MGM with Tex Avery (if you can get to see 'Symphony in Slang' - DO!), UPA and real early Walt Disney and Warner Bros. - And Pixar's 'The Incredibles'. Gotta love that retro futurism. SPACED is the best thing ever to appear on television and strangely changed my life. It made me realise that being in your mid-20's and aimless, hating your job and being surrounded by people who'd mapped out their entire life was OK and their were other people who were the same. So I started saving, packed in my job, travelled the world and went back to university to study illustration. All that from one sitcom, and it makes you laugh till a little bit of wee comes out.
Moby Dick by Herman Melville. Anything by Jonathan Carroll and the earlier books by Umberto Eco. Any DC comics and great illustration by Dave Cooper, Tom Gauld, Adrian Johnson, Martin & Alice Provenson, Saul Steinberg, Mary Blair, Shaun Tan and Lane Smith.
All the illustrators named above. I really admire Stephen Fry for his intellect and wit. Jonathan Ross for his blatant charm, unreserved interest in whatever catches his interest and encyclopaedic knowledge of comics. Simon Pegg for making comics and genre movies interests to be proud of. Unleash the inner geek.
