About Me

Z)

My Interests

Photography, fashion, friends, family and Bobby and Tru.

I'd like to meet:

a President (preferably a Democrat) to spend some time with just talking about his/her gig at the White House...at least one good, close friend from every inhabital continent, 1st generation (got NA, SA, and E covered to some extent)...and just more friends (you can never have too many in the long run).

Music:

All kinds from House to Jazz to Classical, yes even to country when the mood hits me (and no other radio station is available.

Movies:

Ferris Beuhler's Day Off, Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistlestop Cafe, Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, The Wizard of Oz, Schindler's List, Singin' in the Rain, It's a Wonderful Life, Star Wars (all 6 of 'em in a row), West Side Story, Amadeus, An American in Paris, Forrest Gump, Fargo, My Fair Lady, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, All the Toby McGuire Spiderman movies, All 3 X-Men movies, Miss Congeniality (1, not 2), Foul Play (simply for the kitsch value), Brokeback Mountain (requirement), Torch Song Trilogy, Some Like it Hot, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Call Me Madam (Ethel at her best), The Incredibles, Pleasantville, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Holiday Inn, On the Town, Guys and Dolls, 9 to 5, Miracle on 34th Street (original version), Funny Face, Birdcage, Out of Africa, Moulin Rouge, Grease, The Women and The Talented Mr. Ripley.

Television:

Smallville (a guilty pleasure), Heroes, Six Feet Under, Queer as Folk, I Love Lucy (pre Connecticut), Lois and Clark (it's the Lycra), CBS Sunday Morning (geek), all local Savannah TV (just for the ghastly and garish right-wing slanted bias and non-newsworthiness of it all)

Books:

It is not legal to read in Georgia unless it is the bible (so I've been told). I'll let you know once I depart this state and can talk openly about literature without fear of persecution.

Heroes:

Robert Belmont for being my dear Robert Belmont, Sis Carol for finding her way, Christian for forging ahead without showing fear and Boo for being unconditional till the end.
