Frame 1 - Dancing on a really cool dance floor to a really good beat; a funky, deep, heavy, mind expanding cut. Stomping my pumas into the floor while boldy showing off my silver disco pants. (they're my favorites) If you watch close in this frame sometimes you can even see me picking the tracks out on the dance floor myself.
Frame 2 - Acting my ass off on a dark wood stage covered from head to toe in bright red colored light. Flying high and forgetting all I was taught, delving into new parts of myself and others while riding the wave the writer has sent to shore for us. Sharing it all with lots and lots of people, all of whom cared enough to come watch it. (This frame is my favorite. I would pause on this frame forever if I could).
Frame 3 - Gritting my teeth in fury as I beg my machine - absolutely beg it, "why the fuck won't the Unix code work on this stupid goddamn Mac! It worked perfectly before!!!" At the end of this frame, the problem somehow morphs into being fixed. All the while mumbling to myself, "Why am I still doing this shit to pay the bills?"
Frame 4 - Lying in bed with my love. Holding her close to me while our hearts beat together wishing the morning would never come...
Frame 5 - Arching my belly forward towards the mirror with my palms deep in my lower back as far as I possibly can while dropping my head back further and further towards my heels, which are wrapped in my ten pale white fingers while in the Camel pose as I pour sweat out of every pore of my body; wondering why I can't stop smoking the green when it makes yoga so hard, trying to remember to breathe, resisting the urge to grab the water bottle again, and releasing myself to a place in my body and life, if only for the briefest of moments....
where I don't think about any of this.
