About Me

"It was as though I'd learned to suddenly look around corners; images of past humiliations flickered through my head and I saw that they were more than seperate experiences. They were me; they defined me. I was my experiences and my experiences were me, and no blind men, no matter how powerful they became, even if they conquered the world, could take that, or change one single itch, taunt, laugh, cry, scar, ache, rage, or pain of it. They were blind, bat blind, moving only by the echoed sounds of their own voices. And because they were blind they would destroy themselves and I'd help them." -Ralph Ellison, Invisible Man

My Interests

I'm an intricate girl with simple dreams: love/motherhood/success. I have an amazing boyfriend who plays beautiful guitar for me to sing to, and inspiring friends who advance me towards transcendence. I have 7 incredible younger siblings to whom I would give the world. Yo tengo La Gata - she looks deeply in my eyes in half-lidded purring contentment. I have a band that runs fire through my veins. I have a job that involves drinking often and rooftop views. I am pursuing degrees in cultural anthropology and historical education. And I have busted my ass to get here.

I'd like to meet:

Jerzey, one more time.

& the lovely Gina Gershon...
