About Me

I'm 43 years old and I love God! God is and always will be the center of my life!I've decided that the time has come to recapture myself, my true self. I've let the world and a few people in it, change my opinion of myself and now its time for me to get back to ME!Inside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out. But I can usually shut the bitch up with cookies.I love music, all kinds really but mostly I listen to Country.I enjoy the tropics and can't wait to get back to the Grand Cayman Islands again. They are beautiful!!!!I love to fish and go camping though I've not gotten to do either in a very long time, something that will change when I get back up to the Pacific NW.I like to cook, not very experimental, though I had a great teacher. My Mom is British and she taught me all the great recipes.I love animals. My favorite kind of dog is a Japanese Akita.The love of my life is Andrew! He's a very handsome blonde, blue eyed boy! He's my grandson! Can't get enough of that little guy!!!I have 2 kids, Karl who is 24 and married to a wonderful woman Dawn! I miss them both very much as they live up North from me. I also have a 23 year old daughter Lauren. She's an amazing Mom to Andrew. I'm very blessed to have them as my children! God has certainly Blessed me.I live in Vegas with my parents. I take care of them and will until their last breath. I love them dearly!

My Interests

Church,snorkeling, tropical vacations, antique shopping, eBay, my kids, family get together's, fishing, hiking, reality tv, music-all kinds!I'll add more when I can think of them.

I'd like to meet:

I would LOVE to meet Jesus face to face!

Music:

all kinds except for hard core rap and hillbilly country. I like new age country. Jazz, soul, R&B, Pop, Christian, Swing.....you get the picture.

Movies:

Anything funny! I like the old Chevy Chase movies. Wish he'd done more. I don't like horror at all! I can't watch anything with suspense at night or it will give me nightmares. I love chic flicks, go figure there. I like battle movies and action as long as its fairly realistic.

Television:

I don't watch a lot of tv anymore but love Survivor and CSI Miami and Vegas. That would be about the extent of my TV watching.

Books:

Love to read the Bible. As for other books, I love Sydney Sheldon and James Patterson. Those 2 authors are easy reads and they keep me entertained which isn't easy to do.

Heroes:

My Mom! Despite everything she's had to overcome in her life, she always has a smile. My kids, for making it through growing up with me!!!!
