About Me

So...yea...I really hate these "tell all about yourself" things. But whatever...my name's Lindsay, but I also answer to Linds, Lindsay Marie, and pretty much any other random nickname that people have bestowed on me over the years. I was born and raised in northern Connecitcut by my mom, who's from Seattle, and my dad, who's not really from anywhere cause he grew up in the army. I'm living in CT now while I go to school for a second bachelor's degree before pursuing a master's in history, but I've also lived in Boston and New York City. With a little luck, I'll be back in either one of those cities or out in L.A. for grad school by January 2010. I haven't met the right guy yet, but even though I'm not in any huge hurry to get married, I'm always on the lookout. I love guys who are athletic and preppy-casual without being too sloppy. I think one or two tattoos are incredibly sexy as long as they're not in obvious places, or huge. But back to me lol...I spend most of my spare time with my family and friends, but I also appreciate my private time because I love to read. To anyone who writes me, I'm not on this all that often, so don't be surprised if you don't hear from me after several weeks. I try to read everything and reply to as much as I can, but the one thing that doesn't inspire a terribly excited response from me is when someone says, "Hey sweetie/beautiful/hunny/etc, how you doin' tonight," or something equally obnoxious and cliche. I really don't mean to be rude but I've gotten that often enough that it's a little tired. If you want to friend me or message me, that's fine, as long as you have something real to talk about. Anything else you wanna know about me, just keep reading!

LA trip recap

2 weeks ago my friend Shea and I left for 10 days in LA. We didn't go for anything in particular, just because we wanted to. Neither of us had been there before, and we both had always wanted to go. S...
