About Me

Mark Twain: Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.New news for Feb 1, 2007......just bought a beautiful yellow Hummer H-2 (color matches my NSX..cool eh?). Sure way to piss off all the Sierra clubbers out there, that wasn't my intention but oh well. Looking forward to 4-wheeling trips down to Moab/So. Utah this spring and summer. Big enough to throw my sleeping bag in the back at night and bad enough to kick up some dirt in the day. I will post pics soon. Life is soooooo short, use it up, spit it out and do it again. We get no second chances, if you waste today then you have lost it forever !!!! Well gang, I hiked slot canyons in So. Utah in Oct 06, tripped to Austin Texas in fall of 06 where I heard some great music, danced like a fool, stayed out till the wee hours, drank too much, ate too much and otherwise had a damn fine time. In September 06 myself and friends went to the Burning Man Festival in Black Rock Nevada..........very cool and so much fun. Did some things I have never done and didn't think I had the guts to EVER do. I am definitely going back next year. I also recently just returned from a 10 day trip to Spain running with the bulls in Pamplona and tearing it up in Barcelona, Madrid, Bergos and Segovia. Great fun and definitely the "manly" thing to do :).I also experienced Costa Rica for 10 days in April 2005 and all the great things people say about the country are correct...great people and beautiful. I also try to get to Vegas 2 or 3 times a year(new years 2006, what a hell of an experience standing in the center of the intersection between MGM, NYNY, and Excalibur, with beer in hand, as the New Year struck...awesome) just to lose my money and my respect, which both are easy to do there. Thanks to Dustin and Jon at Autoperspective Photography, www.autoperspective.com for taking some pics of me and my car in June 2006, I finally have pics worthy of my Myspace page. Take a look at their website, these guys are good! I have put on a couple of pics for now.I absolutely love my life, my 3 kids (who are all on their own), my beautiful 2 year old granddaughter and my car, an Acura NSX (I know its arrogant to love an object but it makes me feel good, does what I want and it doesn't complain). Went to BYU, but don't hold it against me, I have gotten over that........so many years and beers ago. I now root for U of U. Ex (Palo Alto)California boy that loves the west. I'm a 6'-4", 228lb (cruising to 218)..........pictures were at 238, Gold's gymrat and engineer with the heart of a beachbum, go figure. I shave my head and my favorite fashion statement is shorts and tank top. And finally, Thanks to my friends and kids who have been there for me through good and bad, its amazing that the things in life that will always be there through everything are friends and only the best of family. We can't choose our family and usually not all of family would be our choice for friends.....but the friends and family we choose to keep closest to our hearts are truly to be cherished.

You're not subtle, but you don't want to be. Fast, loud, and dramatic, you want people to notice you, and then get out of the way. In a world full of sheep, you're a raging bull.
