I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a 28-year-old Hollywood native. I have lived in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles for my entire life. At one point in time I wanted to enter the entertainment business as a cinematographer. That is a part of my past, though. I decided early on in my college career (at UCLA) that I was destined for something different. After I graduated from UCLA, I applied to law schools throughout Southern California. Now I'm a law school graduate waiting for my California Bar exam results. I intend to have a life full of meaning and purpose. I enjoy theoretical discussions that sometimes only have a tangential relation to anything that applies in the real world. If I were not pursuing my law degree, I most certainly would be in a Ph.D program. I am a dork. I am sometimes ignorant of popular culture but I'm actually trying to learn it. Yes! Really.I have brown hair, green eyes, tanned skin. I’m quite witty and willing to discuss anything under the sun. (However, to provide you with a broad range of the discussions that I have had recently with friends, much of it has to do with economic and psychologically oriented topics; independent music; why people like to bash business; why women and men act the way they do; why we're all addicted to coffee--and why drugs should be legalized even though I would never use them).I am known for my dry humor and quick wit. I know how to relate to others quite quickly. I know how people think. I am a passionate optimist, and I’ll defeat every pessimist out there. I’m open to getting married within two years. I like quality literature (Dickens, Heller, Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Ayn Rand). I like quality-television programming (24, South Park, The Simpsons, Alias). I like to think logically, but sometimes the emotional side of me takes over. I like challenges. I like intelligent, but commonsensical women. There is a lot of joy in meeting someone new and wondering about who they are.In California, I’ve visited San Francisco, Sacramento, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Ventura. In the U.S., I’ve been to Colorado, Las Vegas, Arizona, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Cleveland, Ohio (the airport). Internationally, I’ve been to Mexico, Israel, England (London), Sweden (Stockholm), Germany (Hamburg, Berlin), The Netherlands / Holland (Amsterdam), Norway (Oslo, Bergen), Denmark (Copenhagen), France (Paris, Avignon, St. Tropez, St. Rafael, Nice, and Canne), Monaco, Belgium (Brussels), Czech Republic (Prague, or "Praha," to those who live there), Austria (Vienna), Switzerland (Zurich), Italy (Milan, Florence, Venice, and Rome). I have studied abroad in Nice, France this summer (2006) and took two law school courses: international business transactions and comparative criminal law.My AIM is MichaGord3.

My Interests

I have an interest in getting to know people and finding out what makes them 'tick.' People are interesting . . . and the more depth an individual has, the more I am likely to find them intriguing. I also enjoy a host of other hobbies, including writing, biking, tennis, trips, etcetera.

I'd like to meet:

I'd be open to meet interesting, informative, dynamic and flexible individuals. The thing I appreciate most is genuine individuals. If you think that I would be interested, feel free to send an e-mail. I'm really a friendly person so at worst, you gained a new friend.
