About Me

Well... my name is Carla, i'm 18 and used to go to school at Stags... not Slags... studied sociology, english and media studies. I guess I am off to uni next year... but hey lets just see what happens.

My parents probably thought I was going to turn out okay because I read books instead of watching tv... what they don't know can't hurt them, and they are amazing. Occasionally when I haven't read a book in ages, I spend the whole day reading until I finish it. LOSER. I like to write, but only the stuff I keep personal is remotely good. However, check out my blog: www.carlabradman.wordpress.com. I have noticed that my blogs are generally reflective of the bad stuff... I tend not to write when everything is great which is usually because that way I actually have a life!

I love music. I write the odd song, but I'm just as happy listening and watching others. I haven't seen that many people this year - nobody who lives in Borehamwood listens to good music, and getting the train back here late is rough. I have seen so far this year a random range - Bowling for Soup, George Michael, Wheatus, McFly, Army of Freshmen, Son of Dork, Supergrass, Travis, Lethal Bizzle (not out of choice...)oh and Justin Hawkins perform with the Top Gear band. I'm going to V Festival as I have to work over reading, and am very, very excited about seeing Arcade Fire in Manchester later this year.

I rarely use myspace anymore - everybody is on facebook. Yes my profile is very pink - I can't be bothered / don't know how to change it. Myspace is better, but I love facebook groups. Particular favourites being: 'Colin Firth will always be my Mr Darcy,' 'I'm sexually inappropriate with my friends, but i'm actually not a lesbian,' 'I can quote every dialogue from Pulp Fiction,' 'You have an accent? Please, let me undress' and 'If you can't differentiate between 'your' and 'you're' you deserve to die.'
